In the Investiture Ceremony organized to induct the newly appointed members of the Student Senate on May 13, 2016, the student heads of DLDAV Model School, Shalimar Bagh imbibed the very important message of being the initiators and crusaders of change. The mood was set by a vibrant march past display by the students of five houses led by their house in charges.

Principal Ms Reena Rajpal administered the oath of office to the newly appointed office bearers.  In her address, Madam Rajpal congratulated the new appointees and exhorted them to play a greater role in developing the school?s educational and social outreach projects. Acknowledging the vital link that these children form between the management and student community, she cautioned them to tread wisely on this important path and to strike the right balance between authority and responsibility. This was followed by a motivating cultural program on the theme ?Dream more, Become more, Do more, Be a leader!
