Our school had applied for the Life Empowerment Awards
2017. This is a special National Life Skills Education & School
Wellness Program by ?Expressions India? led by Dr. Jitendra Nagpal.
Many schools from across the nation had participated in the
program which recognizes and felicitates great initiatives made by institutions
for promotion of holistic development in schools
We had applied for the award in seven categories and we are
thrilled to share that we have received it in six of them:

Pulkit Bansal of Class XII was announced the national level
topper in the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan, organised by Vigyan Bharati, NCERT and
Vigyan Prasar. He received award from Sh
Prakash Javdekar, Union Minister, MHRD and Dr Harsh Vardhan, minister at Ministry of Science &
Technology, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Ministry of
Earth Sciences. Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is a national program for
educating and popularizing science among school students with an aim to
identify the bright minds among the student community. We are proud of Pulkit!

to share that Shri Punam Suriji, President DAVCMC, has been honored with one of
the highest honors of the country, PADMA SHRI. It is a triumph of DAV Culture
and way of education. Congratulations to the entire DAV fraternity.
The school has the honor of bagging the International School Award by the British Council which recognizes and celebrates exemplary practices of internationalism in schools and provides a framework for schools to develop an action plan and implement international activities throughout the year.
The school honour scroll gets another major achievement. We are pleased to inform that our school has been accredited by the CBSE for a period of five years from April 2014 to March 2019. A certificate of accreditation will be awarded by the Board.The accredited status ensures that the school has met prescribed standards that have been pre-set by the CBSE and our school is now permanently affiliated to the Board.
