Hon Sh. G.P. Chopra has been associated with DAV movement for the last seventy years. He has served the organization in various capacities President, Vice-President, General Secretary. He has been one of the leading visionaries and chief architect of the destiny of DAV College Managing Committee. During his tenure as President, DAV College Managing Committee the organization has grown to occupy a place of pride among the educational fraternity in India and abroad. Sh. G.P. Chopra has been honored with several other awards and accolades during his long and rewarding career. Government of India conferred upon him the civilian honor Padma Shree in 1999 for his noteworthy contribution in the field of education. |

Ms. Adarsh Kohli |
| Born on Feb.15, 1950, in a family of Arya Samajists and teachers, educated amidst the chanting of mantras and Havans, specialized in Science and English Literature, teacher in Kulachi Hansraj Model School for 6 yrs., Principal at a young age. Ms. Adarsh Kohli's pilgrimage for perfection is exemplary. An administrator par excellence and a selfless benefactor, Madam Kohli's work speaks for itself. Her unstinting services have been recognized by the society in the form of STATE AWARD (1995) and the prestigious NATIONAL AWARD in 1999. |
| HER PHILOSOPHY: |
| Ms. Kohli strongly feels that education is not only an instrument to develop the total personality of the child helping him to realize his potential but also a medium to transform the global society into a caring, collaborative and responsible unit of cultured individuals. She believes in an education which would array the children in an armour of invincible physical prowess, inquisitive intellect, daring spirit and constructive attitudes, education which is not acquired but discovered and experienced, which elevates man from materialism to spiritualism. |
