School is a part of society. It comes from it and gives back to it. It thus makes great sense to include the community members in the process of Education. We joined hands with many external organizations to provide a holistic educational experience to our learners- to take them beyond the three R?s-to make them life ready.

This Road Safety Awareness program is one such initiative. It's a subject even the youngest children know something about because everyone uses roads, and road danger impacts everyone. Road crashes are a major cause of injury among the young, with the risk rising as children reach secondary school age and have more independence.

Thus, this program was aimed to educate students about the traffic rules that they should abide by when they are on the road regardless whether it?s pedestrians or driving vehicles.

The Primary wing children were made aware about the traffic rules and symbols through fun filled activities, the senior students -who will soon be driving on Indian roads-were sensitized about safe driving practices. 

We believe that a child who learns about traffic rules and road discipline will grow up to be a law-abiding citizen. The habit of obeying traffic rules teaches a person a sense of responsibility, empathy for others and respecting the other person?s rights which is so important.

We sincerely hope that our children will communicate the take-aways of this program to their parents and ensure that they follow the ?Rules Of the Road?
