D.L. D.A.V Model School Shalimar Bagh had the privilege of hosting the state level children?s science congress ? 2018 on Nov 1, 2018.

The focal theme of the science congress was science, technology & innovation for a clean, green and healthy nation.

The Chief guest of the event was Dr. Pratibha Jolly, Principal, Miranda House and member of National Academic Committee of NCSC.

Er. Mr. Anuj Sinha, chairman of the Board of Network of organizations for science and technology communication and Dr. MadhuPhull, a luminary in the field of science education also graced the occasion as guests of Honors. 

            Mr. Sanjib Kumar Sinha, State coordinator of children Science congress was also there to represses the whole event.

The event was a big success as mere     eighty        from forty different schools across Delhi  participated and showcased their projects. Science congress provided a perfect platforms to their to unfold their creativity, investigate and research. Students had worked hard on various sub-themes like Eco-System & Ecosystem Services, Health, Hygiene and Sanitation, Waste to Wealth, Society, Culture and Livelihoods, etc. to come out with positive solutions to various problems which our Society faces.

Eight trains out of the Forty participating teams were selected for the National Level

In the             functions held at the end, participants were given the certificates.

Mrs. Reena Rajpal, Principal of the School praised the efforts of the students and encourage them for the  future endeavors.
