Eco club of D.L.D.A.V Model School, Shalimar Bagh organized a Rally on the occasion of Earth Day. The objective of this rally was to sensitize masses about the conservation of various natural resources like air, water and soil.

Rally was flagged off by Madam principal Mrs Reena Rajpal in the morning. She encouraged and appreciated the efforts of the students. She also interacted with them on various burning issues regarding environment.

Students went to the nearby market places to reach out to the masses.

There, they interacted with the people and sensitized them about the importance of various resources. They asked various questions like whether they do car pooling, do they take care of plants in their surroundings, do they switch off bulbs and fans when they are not in use, do they use water judicially etc.  .

They suggested various methods for conserving natural resources also. They requested people to co-operate to save earth.

The students of class 5 played a skit in different classes of primary section on water conservation to aware the students about their roles to conserve water. All the audience pledged to Love Mother Earth and to conserve its various resources. They requested them, to use bucket and mug for washing cars instead of using water pipe. They can car pool, use LED bulbs, plant trees etc.
